Looks similar to the photo yet has a lot of differences it being the same exact product. Such as the mist hole... which in my case must doesn’t even come out of mine until the diffuser is empty! Which is very very stupid if you ask me.. DO NOT BUY THIS PARTICULAR ITEM! Go for different Ones... I DO NOT WANT A REFUND BUT I WILL ALSO NEVER BE PHRCHASING FROM YOU AGAIN... ThankYou won’t even let me add a photo so I won’t even bother with that anymore either... Very BIG DISAPPOINTMENT VERY!

Hello, the picture shows a small hole on the top white disk that the mist comes out of. I just purchased one of these diffusers & mine does not have that hole & it seems like no mist is coming out. Is mine faulty?

Mineral buildup (or occasionally dust from the manufacturing/packing process) may be interfering with the operation of the unit. It can be cleaned with a 50/50 mix of water and vinegar. Use the solution to rinse out the reservoir and plastic lid, and use a soft bristled brush on the ultrasonic membrane to avoid damaging it. If cleaning the unit doesn't resolve issue, we'd be happy to help you, but we need a bit more information first. Please fill out the form at and we'll do what we can to help you.

Why does this have in the product pamphlet a disclaimer  that this particular product has parts known to cause Birth Defecfs etc?

Proposition 65, also known as the “Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986,” is a California law that requires warnings to be placed on any product that contains or may contain one of more than 900 chemicals designated by the State, even if only in extremely low, trace amounts, and even if they do not make the product unsafe. A Proposition 65 warning label does not mean that the product poses any danger to the consumer. Proposition 65 warnings are all over California, in restaurants, dentist’s offices, grocery stores, parking lots and on products such as makeup and jewelry. HoMedics products are constructed of ordinary materials, such as plastic, cloth, paper and metal. While we believe our products are safe when used as designed and pose no health risks, we provide the warning to avoid costly and frivolous lawsuits. Proposition 65 imposes large penalties, enforceable through civil litigation, for failing to provide a warning unless the company can prove that the presence of a listed chemical presents “no significant risk,” which is defined in a way that renders definitive proof difficult, costly, and uncertain. Companies are often faced with the expense of having to defend civil litigation merely due to the presence of a listed chemical in a product without a warning, regardless of whether it presents any actual risk or results in exposure levels sufficient to trigger a warning requirement. As such, HoMedics, as well as most other companies, have elected to include this warning to ensure compliance with Proposition 65.
